Job summary

Executive Network Legal Limited seeks a Solicitor to join its in-house team in Newcastle on a hybrid basis. The role focuses on contracts, risk management, and commercial matters across international projects.

You will review, draft and negotiate contracts, advise on legal risks, and support claims and debt recovery while collaborating with stakeholders across the business. PQE 2–4 years and construction law experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Construction law experience is essential.
• Strong drafting and drafting style.
• Negotiation of bespoke client contracts and standard forms.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Experience advising on contracts, risk management and professional assignments.

Responsibilities

• Review, draft and negotiate contracts and arrangements.
• Advise on legal and commercial risks and support risk management policies.
• Provide advice on assignments, warranties, third-party rights and novation agreements.
• Support claims administration and debt recovery.
• Provide ad hoc legal advice across the wider business.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and regional management teams.
