Qualifications

• This role requires 2–4 years' PQE in a solicitor role, with preference for in-house or construction-focused work.
• Experience advising on and negotiating engineering consultancy appointments and bespoke client contracts.
• Strong drafting and commercial negotiation skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Reviewing, drafting and negotiating contracts and contractual arrangements.
• Advising on legal and commercial risks and supporting risk management policies.
• Providing advice on assignments, collateral warranties, third-party rights, novation and letters of reliance.
• Supporting claims administration and debt recovery; and providing ad hoc legal guidance.
