Impressive transatlantic biopharma company has a stellar opportunity for a dynamic In-house Patent Attorney to join their expert IP function based in Cambridge.
A role borne out of success and organic growth, you'll be welcomed into the IP and wider legal team. Ideally a dual qualified patent attorney, it's essential that you're confident working autonomously, with an expertise and depth of knowledge in the organic chemistry/life sciences space.
Commercially focused with the ability to offer succinct strategic IP advice, you'll be engaged in further developing and protecting their robust existing patent portfolio. This is a rare ‘classic' in-house role where you can bring and utilise your broad patent life cycle skillset and ‘be there' at the point of invention working with R&D, collaborating with outside counsel, educating on all aspects of IP and working collaboratively and pragmatically towards optimum results for this pioneering business.
With an onsite presence in Cambridge of one day a week required, this role encompasses an excellent level of flexibility, that elusive work/life balance and an outstanding quality of work that you've been craving.
