Job summary

SF Partners in the United Kingdom is seeking a Finance Manager for a newly created role within a high-growth manufacturing business. You will take hands-on ownership of the finance function, bring it in-house and strengthen reporting and controls to support rapid growth.

As this role evolves, you will have scope to take on greater commercial responsibility, influence business decisions and shape the company’s financial strategy alongside senior stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Experience owning finance within a small business and engaging senior stakeholders.
• Hands-on experience with transactional finance, payroll and month-end.
• Strong understanding of job costing.
• Experience with Xero and a job management system is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Own month-end close, reconciliations and monthly management reporting.
• Manage payroll, day-to-day banking and prepare payment runs for approval.
• Invoicing, credit control, purchase ledger and supplier accounts.
• Track job profitability, labour and material costs and flag budget overruns.
• Produce operational reporting and support the monthly group reporting pack.
• Improve finance processes across accounting and job management systems.
