Job summary

Hydrogen Group is seeking a solutions-driven Employment Paralegal to join its in-house legal team. You will manage day-to-day contentious disputes, pre-action conciliation, and general employment advisory matters across core staff and contractor operations.

Reporting to the Senior Legal Counsel, you will coordinate active caseloads, draft statements and bundles, run disclosure exercises, and brief external solicitors. You will also provide HR guidance and help keep policies up to date.

Qualifications

• UK employment law knowledge and dispute resolution familiarity.
• Experience supporting in-house or private practice with document bundles and drafting.
• Detail-oriented with ability to manage deadlines.
• Professional communication and handling confidential issues.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate caseload of workplace disputes and conciliation, track deadlines.
• Draft response documents, witness statements, case chronologies, and bundles.
• Run evidence gathering and disclosure exercises with data protection safeguards.
• Brief external solicitors and coordinate conferences.
• Monitor statutory and regulatory workplace trends to provide risk insights to People teams.
