Job summary

The Sutton Trust is seeking a Senior Employability Programmes Manager to lead the in-house delivery of our employability programmes, including Pathways Online, Access Apprenticeships and Careers Plus. You will guide strategic development of new Tech and Digital Pathways to the Professions and manage a high-performing team.

You will oversee programme budgets, ensure quality and impact, and work with cross-functional colleagues to shape a cohesive journey for beneficiaries.

Qualifications

• Experience in leading and developing complex programmes for young people or educational cohorts.
• Ability to manage multiple strands of work and deliver high-quality outcomes.
• Proven track record in line management and staff development.
• Clear and concise written and verbal communication across diverse stakeholder groups.
• Proficiency with CRM systems and data management.
• Strong organisational skills, prioritisation and delivery under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Lead development, growth and quality of Sutton Trust in-house employability programmes.
• Oversee portfolio delivery and ensure alignment with 2030 strategy and safeguarding requirements.
• Line manage Programme Managers and support team development.
• Represent the Trust at external events and with sector partners.
