This is an in-house role for a Disputes Lawyer with experience in Judicial Review, Commercial Litigation, and Property Disputes.

Client Details

Our client is the owner and operator of one of the largest pieces of infrastructure in the UK, which is integral to trade and transport within the British Isles.

Description

The successful candidate will provide high-quality, efficient, and commercially focused legal advice across a variety of matters, including dispute resolution, public law, statutory enforcement, and compliance/regulatory work.

Key Responsibilities

1. Handle general litigation work, including property, landlord and tenant, and commercial dispute work.
2. Advise upon and manage judicial review and dispute resolution proceedings, including advocacy, arbitrations, and mediations (where applicable).
3. Advise on data protection legislation and best practices.
4. Handle information law matters, including responses to Environmental Information Requests.
5. Address governance matters, statutes, statutory instruments, and the regulatory framework and byelaws under which this body operates.

Profile

The successful candidate will be a solicitor qualified in England & Wales, likely with 5+ years of experience in one or more of the following areas:

• Dispute Resolution legal team
• Public law legal team
• An in-house legal team focusing on contentious matters
