Qualifications
- Qualified solicitor with experience drafting and negotiating high-value construction contracts (private practice or in-house).
- Strong NEC4 construction contract experience essential.
- Excellent attention to detail, organisation, prioritisation and commercial awareness.
- Practical, collaborative, solutions-focused approach with strong stakeholder engagement.
Responsibilities
- Draft and negotiate key delivery contracts for asset management periods (design and construction for capital investment and repair/maintenance).
- Provide legal/commercial input during tender processes, including evaluation support.
- Lead contract negotiations with bidders and ensure drafting reflects commercial agreements.
- Advise internal stakeholders on complex procurement matters and help shape future delivery alliances.
