Job summary

Marama Care is seeking a Support Worker in the Plymouth and Torquay area to assist clients in their own homes, focusing on safety and daily tasks. The role includes supporting participation in community activities and providing hands-on care.

Full training and 24/7 management support are offered. Applicants must have experience with autism or learning disabilities and hold a full UK driving licence for a manual car. No sponsorship. 36+ hours weekly, 12-hour shifts.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 years’ experience with autistic people and / or learning disabilities.

Responsibilities

• Support clients in their own homes to maintain a safe living environment.
• Assist with community activities and outings, joining in as needed.
• Complete tasks clients cannot do themselves with guidance from the care team.
• Receive full training and 24/7 on-call support from management.
