Job summary

Active Care Group is seeking a caring Support Worker to assist an adult with complex care needs in their own home in Wickford, Essex. You will promote independence, support rehabilitation, and help the individual lead an active lifestyle.

The role includes day shifts, sleep shifts, and night duty. We offer DBS checks, induction training, holiday pay, and pension. A full UK driving licence is desirable but not essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in complex care is desirable but not essential.
• Excellent communication, especially lip reading, is required.
• Ability to work in a two-person care team and follow care plans.

Responsibilities

• Support one adult with complex needs in their own home in Wickford.
• Work as part of a consistent two-person care team with planned shifts.
• Attend induction training and ongoing training as provided by the company.
