Job summary

Bluebird Care Winchester and surrounding area is seeking a Care Assistant to deliver high-quality, person-centred home care, promoting independence, dignity and wellbeing. You’ll work either independently or as part of a supportive team, bringing warmth, comfort and connection to those who need it most.

Qualifications

• Great communication skills and ability to build positive relationships.
• A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
• Aged 18+
• Right to Work in the UK (no sponsorship)
• Weekend availability (every other weekend or one day every weekend)
• No previous care experience required - training provided

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality care tailored to each customer's individual needs
• Assist with personal care (bathing, dressing, grooming)
• Support with nutrition and hydration, including meal planning and preparation
• Help with medication and prescriptions
• Carry out light housework (tidying, laundry, cleaning)
• Be a dependable, friendly, and familiar face for our customers
