Job summary

TES Power in Ballykelly is seeking an entry‑level IMS – Electricians Mate to join the production team. This hands‑on role supports assembly and manufacture of power and switchgear systems with full training provided.

Location is Ballykelly with a 4 day week pattern. The position is full‑time, 40 hours per week, at £16.50 per hour, offering training and opportunities for growth within the electrical installations discipline.

Qualifications

• Experience in installation of Electrical Containment Systems within SKIDS & POD switch rooms.
• Willingness to learn and develop new skills.
• Good work ethic and reliability.
• Ability to work as part of a team.
• Basic understanding of Health & Safety in the workplace.

Responsibilities

• Assist Installation of Electrical Containment Systems within SKIDS & POD switch rooms.
• Operate basic tools and machinery in a safe and efficient manner.
• Support mechanical fitters and Electricians in daily tasks.
• Follow work instructions, drawings, and standard operating procedures.
• Maintain high standards of quality and attention to detail.
• Carry out basic inspections and report any issues or defects.
• Ensure adherence to all Health & Safety procedures.
• Maintain a clean and organised work area.

TES are an award-winning environmental engineering company specialising in Water Treatment and Power Distribution solutions. Due to the continued growth and expansion, we are seeking skilled and reliable IMS – Electricians Mateto join our expanding production team at TES Power in Ballykelly.

This is an entry-level, hands‑on role supporting theassembly and manufacture of power and switchgear systems, with full training provided.

Location: Ballykelly

Working Pattern: 4 Day Week

Contract Type: Full-time, 40 hours, Permanent

Hourly Rate: £16.50 per hour

About the role

• Assist Installation of Electrical Containment Systems within SKIDS & POD switch rooms.
• Operate basic tools and machinery in a safe and efficient manner.
• Support mechanical fitters and Electricians in daily tasks.
• Follow work instructions, drawings, and standard operating procedures.
• Maintain high standards of quality and attention to detail.
• Carry out basic inspections and report any issues or defects.
• Ensure adherence to all Health & Safety procedures.
• Maintain a clean and organised work area.

The Person:

• Experience in the installation of Electrical Containment Systems within SKIDS & POD switch rooms and or wiring of Electrical switchgear

Desirable

• Experience using hand tools or working in an engineering environment
• Exposure to assembly, wiring, or mechanical tasks
