ELIQUO HYDROK is seeking a focused Electricians mate to assist with installation and commissioning of electrical projects in the UK, Ireland, and Europe. The role includes carrying out cable installation and terminations, basic testing, and documentation preparation under supervision.
Ideal candidates will have NVQ Level 2/3 in electrical, basic electrical knowledge, and effective communication skills. The position offers flexible/hybrid working options, employee health plans, and a company pension.
This role is for a focused and highly motivated Electricians mate working towards a fully qualified electrician role. You will join the M&E team and deliver the installation and commissioning activities of projects throughout the UK, Ireland and Europe. As an Electricians Mate you will assist the Electrical Installer / Commissioning Engineer on site and at the factory as required. You will carry out cable installation and terminations under supervision. You will perform basic testing under supervision to enable the Installation certificate to be completed. You will ensure that all installation and commissioning activities are executed to meet the project requirements in a safe and cost-effective manner within the agreed constraints of time, quality and cost, whilst maintaining the relationships with the clients’ operational staff and an excellent Health Safety and Environmental performance. You will ensure customer satisfaction and quality is always achieved. You will be involved in the preparation of scheme specific documentation including Method Statements, Risk Assessments, all under the guidance of the Installations Department Manager.
