Job summary

TES Group is seeking an IMS – Electricians Mate to join TES Power in Ballykelly. This entry-level, hands-on role supports the assembly and manufacture of power and switchgear systems, with full training provided.

The role is based in Ballykelly with a 4 day week, 40-hour contract, and an hourly rate of £16.50. You will assist installation, use basic tools, follow drawings, and maintain safety and quality standards.

• Experience in installation of Electrical Containment Systems within SKIDS & POD switch rooms or wiring of Electrical switchgear
• Willingness to learn and develop new skills
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Knowledge of Health & Safety in the workplace

Responsibilities

• Assist installation of Electrical Containment Systems within SKIDS & POD switch rooms.
• Operate basic tools and machinery safely and efficiently.
• Support mechanical fitters and electricians in daily tasks.
• Follow work instructions, drawings, and SOPs.
• Maintain high standards of quality and attention to detail.
• Carry out basic inspections and report issues or defects.
• Ensure adherence to Health & Safety procedures.
• Maintain a clean and organised work area.

TES are an award-winning environmental engineering company specialising in Water Treatment and Power Distribution solutions. Due to the continued growth and expansion, we are seeking skilled and reliable IMS – Electricians Mate to join our expanding production team at TES Power in Ballykelly.

This is an entry-level, hands-on role supporting the assembly and manufacture of power and switchgear systems, with full training provided.

Location: Ballykelly

Working Pattern: 4 Day Week

Contract Type: Full-time, 40 hours, Permanent

Hourly Rate: £16.50 per hour

About The Role
