Job summary

Fashion Personnel in Leeds is seeking an import/wholesale merchandiser to join a leading private label business. You will report to the head of production and work with sales, tech and design to ensure on-time delivery, strong customer service, and robust relationships with manufacturers.

Day to day duties include managing the critical path, raising purchase orders, approving lab dips, and overseeing packaging and testing, with 2 days hybrid working after probation and 25 days holiday plus bank

Qualifications

• Experience in import/merchandising within fashion or private label sectors.
• Strong supplier relations and negotiation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple products and timelines across regions.

Responsibilities

• Manage the critical path for product launches and order fulfilment.
• Raise purchase orders and track orders through to delivery.
• Approve lab dips and ensure alignment with specs and quality standards.
• Oversee packaging, testing, and product compliance.
• Build and maintain relationships with manufacturers and internal teams.
