Job summary

Tagged Resources Ltd is seeking a Sales Import Merchandiser to join a busy merchandising team. The role focuses on pursuing keen prices and ensuring timely delivery to contract customers across UK, Europe and the Middle East.

You will work with customers and our Sales Team, handling costings, contracts and orders for stock ranges, and coordinating with Shipping, Design and Garment Technologists to ensure smooth critical path execution.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar apparel Sales Import Merchandising role with a minimum of five years.
• Excellent communication skills, especially with suppliers abroad.
• Strong organisational ability and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

The Company:

Due to continued growth, we are looking to recruit a Sales Import Merchandiser to join a busy team. Our client is a highly respected, trend lead global supplier of private label and branded products.

You will hold a pivotal role within the Merchandising Department, pursuing keen prices and ensuring the timely delivery of product to our contract customers.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Work closely with customers and our Sales Team, on UK, European and Middle Eastern contract accounts, whilst also playing an integral role within the Merchandise Team, managing both customer contracts and orders for our stock range.


• Handle costings for development styles that have generated customer interest.


• Raise orders on our in-house PLMS system.


• Manage the critical path for your contract orders.


• Liaise with all teams including Sales, Account Managers, Shipping, Design and Garment Technologists to ensure the smooth running of the critical path.


• Where relevant, order or send out labelling and packaging to suppliers.


• Manage press and photography sample requirements for customer orders.


• Deal with incoming and outgoing correspondence resolving customer and supplier queries.


• Generate progress reports.

Requirements & Qualifications:

• Experience in a similar apparel, Sales Import Merchandising role with a minimum of five years.


• Team player.


• Excellent computer skills including excel.


• Strong communication skills, in particular dealing with suppliers abroad.


• Exceptionally well organised with good attention to detail.
