Job description

Retire the ERP. Light exists to replace factory-era ERPs with software that feels alive. Our Smart Financial Platform gives modern, global companies superpowers—automated accounting, real-time reporting, and financial flows that move at the speed of the business. We build with our customers, ship fast, and obsess over craft. In a short time, Light has gone from idea to the operating core for leading companies like Lovable, Legora, and Keyshot. People don’t just use Light—they enjoy it. We’re an early team defining a new software category. Think engineers who love debits and credits, designers who care about reconciliation states, and operators who treat finance as a product. If you’re excited to modernize how the world runs money—one workflow at a time—you’re in the right place. Backed by world-class investors and advised by industry titans, we’re building category-defining products with the freedom to ship ambitiously and own outcomes. Come help us make Light the global default for next‑gen finance.

Implementation Manager responsibilities
  • Lead complex implementation projects for multinational clients transitioning from legacy ERPs to Light's Smart Financial Platform.
  • Apply experience to navigate intricate financial systems and processes during client migrations.
  • Build trusted relationships with client finance leadership teams to ensure successful platform adoption.
  • Develop and execute detailed project plans with clear milestones and deliverables.
  • Collaborate with internal product and engineering teams to translate client requirements into successful implementations.
How you fit into the team

Your main mission is to ensure flawless transitions from outdated ERP systems to Light's modern financial platform. Based in‑office, this role requires you to leverage your background to build credibility with finance executives while managing complex technical implementations. You'll be the bridge between enterprise finance teams and our product capabilities.

This is a client‑facing role with direct responsibility for implementation success and long‑term client satisfaction. You'll work with a small and stellar team with a deep understanding of the market who has done this before.

Your qualifications
  • BS degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience as either an in‑house systems manager who has managed ERP migrations or a Big4/‑like firm with focus on accounting or ERP implementation.
  • Accounting Expertise: Thorough knowledge of accounting procedures and principles is a must.
  • Project Management Excellence: You love adding structure to chaos and have a checklist for everything you do.
  • Finance Systems Expertise: You understand the intricacies of financial systems, processes, and how they integrate across multinational organizations.
  • Client Relationship Management: You excel at building trust with C‑suite executives and finance leadership teams through clear communication and consistent delivery.
  • Problem‑Solving: You can quickly diagnose implementation challenges and develop practical solutions that balance client needs with technical feasibility.
  • Practical experience using AI or emerging technology tools to improve productivity, insight, or decision‑making, with the ability to apply first‑principles thinking to new problems.
Bonus points
  • Experience specifically with migrations to or from major ERP systems (Oracle, NetSuite) to more modern financial platforms.
  • Technical Aptitude: You have hands‑on experience with financial software integrations and data migration.
  • Industry Specialization: You have deep expertise in the tech/SaaS industry and understand their unique financial operations challenges.
  • International Experience: You’ve worked on multinational projects spanning different regulatory environments and accounting standards.
Tips to stand out
  • Share specific examples of complex implementation projects you’ve led, focusing on how you overcame resistance to change.
  • Demonstrate your understanding of financial systems architecture and migration strategies that minimize disruption.
  • Explain your approach to building client trust throughout challenging transformation projects.
