The Implementation Delivery Manager for the NHS Race and Health Observatory’s PEADP will oversee day-to-day delivery, coordinate partners, and use data to guide decisions across England. This fixed-term role supports scalable action on racism in perinatal services.
You will work with NHS senior leaders and participating sites to ensure milestones are met, manage risks, and drive continuous improvement in programme delivery and resourcing.
The Implementation Delivery Manager is a key role within in the NHS Race and Health Observatory’s Perinatal Equity and Anti-Discrimination Programme (PEADP), a national programme commissioned by NHS England to support meaningful action on racism and discrimination in perinatal services across England.
The role will be responsible for the operational grip, coordination and continuous improvement needed to deliver PEADP at scale. Working with the Senior Implementation Programme Manager, delivery partners and participating Trusts, you will oversee day-to-day delivery, keep activity aligned to agreed plans, identify and respond to delivery risks, and use programme data to support clear reporting and informed decision-making. This role will suit someone who is highly organised, confident working across multiple partners, and able to translate complex delivery information into practical action.

The NHS Race and Health Observatory is an independent organisation, set up to explore racial and ethnic inequalities in access to healthcare, experiences of healthcare, health outcomes, and inequalities experienced by Black and minority ethnic members of the health and care workforce. In doing so, it assesses aspirations in these areas as outlined in national healthcare policy, including those set-out in the NHS Long Term Plan. It is a proactive investigator, providing strong recommendations that inform policymaking and facilitate change. It is evidence-driven and solution-focused.
The Observatory is supported by NHS England and is hosted by NHS Alliance. Its board and team are independent, and we dictate our own direction and areas of focus.

Salary£46,822 per annum plus £4,000 London weighting if applicable
