Job summary

Pro-Found Recruitment Solutions Ltd in Sheffield is seeking an Implant Finish Operative to join the manufacturing team. This hands-on role covers finishing and inspection of components to meet quality and dimensional specifications, with a fixed day shift schedule.

You will perform polishing, linishing and inspection using verniers, height gauges and shadowgraph equipment, and contribute to a clean, safe, and efficient production environment. Training provided where needed.

Responsibilities

• Straightening, buffing, linishing, mop polishing and vibration polishing components.
• Using linishing belts, Scotch-Brite and polishing wheels.
• Carrying out detailed visual inspections and quality checks.
• Using precision measuring equipment such as verniers, height gauges and shadowgraph equipment.
• Loading and unloading components and moving materials around the department.
• Completing production and timekeeping paperwork.
• Maintaining a clean, tidy and safe working environment.
• Working as part of a team to meet production targets and quality standards.

Job description

We are looking for an Implant Finish Operative to join our client’s manufacturing team based in Sheffield.

Benefits

• Location: Sheffield, S9
• Hours:5 hours per week - Day shift - Monday to Wednesday 6am to 4pm & Thursday 6am to 3.30pm
• Pay: £15.25 per hour
• Contract: Permanent

This is a hands‑on production role involving the finishing and inspection of components to ensure they meet the required quality and dimensional specifications.

The Role

Please note: This is a physical, hands‑on role involving periods of standing, repetitive use of hands and wrists, and manual handling. Trays of components can weigh approximately 12-15kg, with bags of polishing media weighing up to 20kg.
