Job summary

Schroders, a global investment manager, is seeking a Third Party Custody Analyst to join its Wealth Management Operations in Horsham. You will process transactions, reconcile custodian data and internal systems, and resolve position discrepancies while managing high volumes and supporting Global Wealth teams.

You will independently carry out processes, contribute to continuous improvements, and work with the team to enhance processes and systems using automation where appropriate.

Qualifications

• Broad experience in asset or wealth management operations, specifically Securities Administration and reconciliation.
• Investment Operations Certificate (IOC) or equivalent.
• A strong attention to detail is required.
• Good at analysing and solving problems.
• Experience in using Temenos platform (T24) desirable.
• Experience and knowledge in Xceptor desirable.
• Intermediate experience of Microsoft applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Process bookings of all transactions reported by the custodians or upon receipt of trade confirmations.
• Reconcile custodian data and internal system data according to defined frequency.
• Work through high volumes, prioritise and manage workloads.
• Troubleshoot discrepancies arising from transaction processing and adjust positions as required.
• Document and monitor reconciliation breaks.
• Own assigned custodians, process data manually and via automation tools.
• Ensure portfolio valuations are up to date and prices are accurate.
• Create and maintain client mandates, securities, accounts, FX and other instruments.
• Process Corporate Actions and transactions for model portfolios.
• Manage the team mailbox, allocate and process items.
• Maintain procedure documentation and controls.
• Provide support to all operational and Global Wealth teams.
