Job summary

Outwood Alternative Provision Eston in Middlesbrough is seeking an Advanced Teaching Assistant to support students who benefit from a smaller setting and stronger relationships. You will deliver targeted interventions, support learning in and beyond the classroom, and help pupils overcome SEND, SEMH and related barriers.

This is a part-time, term-time role (30 hours/week) plus five days, with a salary of £19,590 to £20,500, available for the 2026/27 academic year.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting students with SEND, SEMH, or related needs.
• Ability to deliver targeted interventions and work with diverse learners.
• Strong interpersonal skills and resilience.
