Job summary

Teaching Personnel is partnered with a Swansea primary school to recruit a confident Behaviour & Sports Mentor for Years 4 and 5. The role focuses on behaviour support and mentoring, leveraging sport to boost wellbeing in a safe, nurturing environment.

You will work 1:1 and in small groups, helping pupils regulate emotions and re-engage with learning through positive activities. Immediate start. Term-time schedule.

Qualifications

• Energetic and enthusiastic about working with children.
• Experience or interest in sport, coaching or mentoring.
• Able to support pupils with behaviour and emotional regulation.

Responsibilities

• Supporting pupils on a 1:1 and small group basis.
• Using sport, movement and physical activity to support emotional regulation.
• Delivering positive interventions outside the classroom when required.
• Acting as a positive role model and mentor.
• Building strong relationships with pupils, staff and families.
