Job summary

Wiltshire Council is seeking an experienced Social Worker to join our Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH) and safeguard vulnerable children within the community. You will conduct risk assessments, collaborate with partner agencies, and develop intervention plans to promote safety and welfare.

The role requires a recognised social work qualification and current SW England registration, with strong communication and multi-agency liaison skills.

Qualifications

• Recognised social work qualification (Degree in Social Work, DipSW or equivalent).
• Current Social Work England registration.
• Significant experience in child protection and safeguarding.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments and determine the level of risk for children and families.
• Collaborate with partner agencies to gather and analyze information to inform decision-making.
• Develop and implement intervention plans that promote the safety and welfare of children.
• Provide support and guidance to families, empowering them to make positive changes.
• Documenting casework and maintaining accurate records in accordance with legal and organizational standards.
