Job summary

Nottinghamshire County Council is seeking a passionate Social Worker to join the Broxtowe & Rushcliffe Family Support and Safeguarding Team. In this mid-level role you will assess children and families, identify needs and risks, and plan interventions.

Hybrid working with 37 hours per week at Beeston Central, Beeston, NG9 1GR. You will lead comprehensive assessments, coordinate services with partners, and document evidence for safeguarding processes.

Qualifications

• Professional social work qualification and registration with Social Work England.
• Experience in child protection, safeguarding, and assessment work.
• Full driving licence and access to a vehicle for work.

Responsibilities

• Conducting Comprehensive Assessments: Gather and analyse information to evaluate strengths and vulnerabilities.
• Coordinating Support Services: Work with families and partners to implement strategies and interventions.
• Writing Reports: Prepare Child and Family Assessments and documentation for Initial Child Protection Conferences.
• Managing Workload: Organise and manage caseload independently with supervision from the Team Manager.
