Job summary

Bath and North East Somerset Council is recruiting an ASYE Social Worker to join the Adolescent and Child Experienced Team, supporting young people aged 11-18 at risk of or experiencing exploitation. You will work in partnership with a multidisciplinary team to deliver evidence-based social care and safeguarding interventions in our responsive Local Authority.

You will manage your own caseload, analyse complex information, and write professional assessments while prioritising tasks to protect

Qualifications

• Evidence of ability to analyse information and formulate outcome-focused plans for children and families.
• Ability to write professional assessments and reports and present evidence verbally.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to prioritise and work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of children, young people and families with complex needs.
• Respond to and coordinate social care services for young people aged 11-18 at risk of or experiencing exploitation.
• Build intensive relationships with young people and work in partnership with families.
• Contribute to safeguarding via contextual approaches and partnerships with health, education, and support services.
