Job summary

Targeted Provision in the United Kingdom is seeking SEND Tutors and Teachers to work with Schools and Local Authorities, delivering Maths, English or Science tuition to young people with SEND and SEMH needs.

Roles are self-employed with flexible hours, in-person, hybrid, or remote options, and opportunities to work close to home. DBS and references are part of the safeguarding process. Join a trauma-informed, child-centered team committed to transforming lives.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of teaching experience, ideally with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD or PMLD.
• Familiarity teaching English, Maths and/or Science.
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS / QTLS) is required.
• Enhanced DBS and 2+ professional references.

Responsibilities

• Provide in person, online / remote, and hybrid Maths, English, or Science tuition to children, teenagers, and young people with SEMH and SEND needs.
• Plan and report for lessons and provide regular feedback on student progress.
• Coordinate with local authorities and schools to arrange tutoring sessions.
• Maintain a trauma-informed, safe learning environment and safeguarding practices.
