Job summary

Durham County Council is recruiting a Specialist EOTIS Intervention Teacher on a temporary/casual basis to deliver highly personalised education to pupils accessing learning through an EOTIS package. The successful candidate will be an experienced SEND teacher, able to adapt the curriculum, work in a supportive team, and travel across County Durham to placements.

DBS disclosure is required; salary £45,352 pro rata; closing date 11 September 2026.

Qualifications

• Must be an experienced SEND teacher with ability to adapt the curriculum.
• Strong interpersonal skills and collaboration within a team.
• Willingness to travel across County Durham for placements.
