Job summary

Remedy Education is seeking a patient and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant for an exciting role in Epping. The school supports both primary and secondary pupils with a range of needs and aims to provide consistent, structured learning experiences.

You will work 1:1 and in small groups across age groups, supporting communication, emotional regulation and personal development. A DBS check is required, and the role offers long-term stability and ongoing consultant support.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting children or young people with SEN, ASD, ADHD or complex needs.
• Calm, patient and resilient approach.
• Willing to support personal care where needed.

Responsibilities

• Providing 1:1 and small group support across primary and secondary classes.
• Supporting communication, emotional regulation and engagement in learning.
• Following EHCP targets and individual support plans.
• Assisting with personal care where required.
• Working closely with teachers, SENCOs and external professionals.
• Helping maintain a calm, structured and positive learning environment.
• Encouraging independence, confidence and social development.
