Job summary

Academics is seeking a reliable SEN TA to join welcoming Reading schools, supporting pupils with additional needs including ASD, ADHD, SEMH and challenging behaviour.

You will assist inside and outside the classroom, helping pupils build confidence, develop independence and engage with learning. The role is full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:30am-3:30pm, paying £95-£105 per day, with opportunities across several supportive schools.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a SEN TA or similar support role in a school.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Patience, flexibility and a genuine passion for supporting pupils with additional needs.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils with additional needs both inside and outside the classroom.
• Help pupils develop confidence, independence and engagement with learning.
• Collaborate with teaching staff to implement individual plans.
