Job summary

Mana Education are recruiting SEN Teaching Assistants to support children with a wide range of additional needs across Mansfield and surrounding areas. Roles include day-to-day supply, short- and long-term placements, maternity cover, temp-to-perm and permanent positions.

You will work with pupils 1:1 or in small groups, supporting communication, emotional regulation and independence while contributing to inclusive education across both primary and secondary settings.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting children or young people in UK schools.
• Calm, patient and adaptable approach in challenging environments.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Commitment to safeguarding and inclusion in education.
• Teaching Assistant qualifications are beneficial but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils with learning and developmental needs across primary and secondary levels.
• Assist with communication, emotional regulation and independence in learners.
• Support classroom learning and small intervention groups.
• Maintain safeguarding standards and contribute to a positive learning environment.
