Job summary

Mana Education is recruiting SEN Teaching Assistants to support children with a range of complex needs across Norfolk and Cambridgeshire. Roles include 1:1 and small-group support, working with pupils with ADHD, ASC, SEMH and SLCN, and assisting with EHCP targets.

Positions available on flexible terms including daily supply, long-term placements or permanent roles. Competitive pay is offered with weekly payments and ongoing professional development in specialist SEN settings.

Qualifications

  • Experience or qualifications in SEN/SEND support.
  • Experience in specialist provisions, PRUs, care settings or residential environments.
  • Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification.
  • CACHE Level 2 or Level 3 Certificate in Supporting Teaching and Learning.
  • Level 3 Diploma in Specialist Support for Teaching and Learning in Schools.

Responsibilities

  • Provide 1:1 and small-group support to pupils with additional needs.
  • Support students with ADHD, ASC, SEMH and communication needs.
  • Assist pupils with MLD, SLD and PMLD.
  • Support learners with Speech, Language and Communication Needs (SLCN).
  • Work alongside teachers, therapists and healthcare professionals to implement EHCP targets.
  • Support pupils with complex health needs where required (training provided).
  • Help manage behaviour positively using structured and therapeutic approaches.
  • Encourage independence, emotional regulation and social development.
