Job summary

GSL Education in Blaxhall is seeking a dedicated School Support Worker to help pupils with additional needs in a nurturing, inclusive environment. You will provide classroom and 1:1 support, assist with behaviour management and lesson delivery, and work closely with the SENCO and pastoral teams. The role is full-time, term-time only, with a competitive daily rate of £93–£140.

Responsibilities

• Assisting teachers with behaviour management and lesson delivery.
• Helping students build confidence, regulate emotions, and stay engaged with learning.
• Working closely with the SENCO and pastoral teams to deliver targeted support.
