Job summary

Helix Academies Trust is advertising a Learning Support Assistant role at Marple Hall School in Stockport. The post is permanent and part-time (34 hours per week, 8am-3:30pm). Salary is NJC Scale 3, with actual salary depending on pro rata terms for 34 hours.

The successful candidate will support students with SEN and/or disabilities, providing patient and calm assistance. Training is provided, with opportunities to work in mainstream classes or in the Resource Base.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting students with special educational needs.
• Patient and calm disposition.
• Willing to train and adapt to resource base or mainstream classes.

Responsibilities

• Support students with SEN in lessons.
• Assist in mainstream classes or Resource Base.
• Support development and learning in line with EHCPs and school aims.
