Job summary

TimePlan Education Group Limited is seeking an experienced Learning Support Assistant to support pupils aged 11–16 with diverse and complex needs in a SEN school near Knutsford, Cheshire.

The role involves 1:1 and small-group support, implementing EHCP targets, and working closely with teachers and therapists to promote independence and emotional wellbeing. Start September 2026; permanent opportunities available.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in an SEN, specialist education or challenging behaviour setting essential.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Patient, resilient and adaptable.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 and small-group SEN support
• Support students with complex needs and challenging behaviour
• Promote communication, engagement and emotional regulation
• Implement strategies linked to EHCP targets
• Work collaboratively with teaching and therapy teams
• Create a safe, calm and inclusive learning environment
• Support with personal care where required
