Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment LTD. is seeking an SEMH Teacher to join a specialist education setting in Leicester, delivering engaging lessons to KS3 and KS4 students with SEMH needs. Immediate start with a full-time, long-term position.

You will support pupils with emotional and behavioural needs, maintain a positive and structured learning environment, and collaborate with a dedicated education team to enable every student to progress.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Experience working with children or young people with SEMH needs is highly desirable.
• Strong behaviour management and classroom leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and differentiated lessons to KS3 and KS4.
• Support pupils with SEMH needs and behavioural challenges.
• Create a positive, structured and inclusive learning environment.
• Build strong relationships to encourage engagement and development.
• Adapt teaching approaches to meet individual learning needs.
• Collaborate with support staff and the wider school team.
