Job summary

Principal Recruitment is seeking Cover Supervisors for Brent's secondary schools. This role involves supervising classes when teachers are absent and delivering pre-prepared materials to support learning and safety.

Ideal candidates will have experience with young people, strong communication skills, and an Enhanced DBS. Flexible full-time, part-time or hours are offered with competitive pay based on experience.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children or young people.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Must hold an Enhanced DBS.

Responsibilities

• Supervise classes in the absence of the regular teacher and maintain safety.
• Deliver pre-prepared lesson materials or activities.
• Support students with behavioural and learning needs to ensure inclusion.
• Act as a positive role model in the classroom.
• Maintain attendance and behaviour records.
• Communicate with staff about issues or successes during cover lessons.
