Job summary

HCRG Care Group's Learning Enterprise is seeking an experienced Quality and Safety Trainer to design, deliver and evaluate engaging learning across our health and care services, primarily in Surrey with some travel to Kent. You will deliver blended learning, support internal quality assurance, maintain the training catalogue and develop clear learning outcomes while adapting to different learner needs.

A degree-level background and a Level 4 teaching qualification are required, with travel

Qualifications

• Degree-level education or equivalent relevant experience.
• Level 4 teaching, training or assessing qualification or willingness to achieve.
• Ability to deliver across health and care subject areas.
• Experience designing blended learning for health and care audiences.
• Experience delivering both face-to-face and virtual training.
• Confident using digital tools to develop and deliver learning.
• Knowledge of curriculum development and course design.
• Strong presentation, facilitation, communication and coaching skills.
• Ability to engage learners from diverse backgrounds.
• Experience supporting learners with different styles and needs.
• Excellent planning, organisation and time-management.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Awareness of developments in health, care and education.
• Passion for developing others and improving quality and safety.
• Experience in patient moving/handling or BLS training is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver clinical and Quality and Safety training to diverse audiences.
• Deliver learning through a blend of face-to-face and virtual methods.
• Support internal quality assurance of clinical and Quality and Safety learning interventions.
• Maintain the training course catalogue and ensure information is up to date.
• Contribute to training projects and programmes of work.
• Support subject matter experts delivering learning across the organisation.
• Identify and implement improvements to learning provision.
• Support training needs analysis for new or updated learning interventions.
• Develop learning outcomes and course content.
• Adapt learning materials to meet different styles and needs.
• Evaluate training effectiveness and use feedback for improvement.
• Maintain accurate training records and support compliance reporting.
• Manage workload, travel and priorities effectively.
• Collaborate with clinical, operational, quality and learning colleagues.
• Regular travel between locations; full driving licence required.
