Job summary

HCRG Care Group’s Learning Enterprise is seeking a Quality and Safety Trainer to support Surrey and Kent services within a hybrid role. You’ll design, deliver and evaluate clinical and quality and safety training for colleagues across health and care settings.

The role requires a degree-level or equivalent background, a Level 4 teaching qualification, and blended learning experience with both in-person and virtual delivery. Travel to Surrey and Kent sites is expected.

Qualifications

• Degree-level education or equivalent relevant experience.
• Recognised Level 4 teaching, training or assessing qualification.
• Experience designing, developing and delivering blended learning for health and care audiences.
• Experience delivering both face-to-face and virtual training.
• Ability to use digital tools to develop and deliver learning.
• Knowledge of curriculum development and course design.
• Strong presentation, facilitation, communication and coaching skills.
• Ability to engage learners from different professional backgrounds.
• Willingness to travel; full driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Design, deliver and evaluate engaging learning to meet quality and safety standards.
• Deliver learning through face-to-face and virtual methods.
• Support internal quality assurance of clinical and Quality and Safety learning interventions.
• Maintain the training course catalogue with accurate information.
• Contribute to training projects and programmes of work.
• Support subject matter experts who deliver learning across the organisation.
• Identify and implement improvements to learning provision.
• Support training needs analysis to identify demand for new or updated learning interventions.
• Develop clear learning outcomes, objectives and course content.
• Adapt learning materials and delivery methods to meet different learning styles.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of training and use feedback to improve future delivery.
• Maintain accurate training records and support compliance reporting.
• Manage workload, travel and priorities effectively.
• Work collaboratively with clinical, operational, quality and learning colleagues.
