Qualifications

• Have substantial experience of working in children and families services.
• Have a social work qualification, alongside significant post-qualifying experience in a senior or advanced social worker role.
• Experience in reflective decision making and knowledge of Staffordshire’s processes, internal and commissioned services, and external agencies.
• Be flexible with working hours as there will be occasions when evening work may be needed.
• Desire to support children and families to give them the right support at the right time with the aim of keeping families together where it’s safe.
• Be passionate, enthusiastic and comfortable in a dynamic, fast paced environment.
• Have experience presenting and auditing complex data to a range of audiences.

Responsibilities

• Lead regular audits of contacts, referrals and decision‑making within the Integrated Front Door.
• Provide line management, supervision and oversight to the Performance & Contact Centre Analyst.
• Hold strategic oversight of quality and performance arrangements within the contact centre function.
• Support multi‑agency information sharing, auditing, analysis and joint decision‑making within SFIFD.
• Monitor application of local thresholds and pathways across agencies; identify trends and risks for service improvement.
• Develop clear reports, briefings and assurance updates for senior managers and governance boards; support policy/tool development.
• Assist inspection readiness (e.g. Ofsted) with evidence gathering and learning.
