Job summary

National Highways is seeking a Project Support Officer in the Major Projects directorate, based in Manchester or Leeds with travel to Cumbria. You will support and enable the delivery of large renewal projects, coordinating project data, governance, and stakeholder engagement.

The role centers on project management support, information management, and ensuring timely, accurate delivery across internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive project support for project management activities including governance, finance, and document control.
• Develop and sustain effective working relationships with key stakeholders in National Highways and the supply chain.
• Enable and support information management including maintaining high-quality project products and records.
• Support with project/programme governance and assurance requirements including stage gate assessments and monthly reporting.
• Operate administrative processes, ensuring these are delivered accurately on time and to defined standards.
