Job summary

The Jewish Chronicle Limited is seeking a proactive Streetwise Project Coordinator to deliver informal education on antisemitism in schools and community settings across the UK. You will recruit facilitators, manage bookings, and develop engaging curriculum with a strong focus on safeguarding and partnership building.

Join a dynamic Education Department and help shape programmes for young people, working flexible hours including some evenings and weekends when required.

Qualifications

• Experience in antisemitism education or informal education/youth work.
• Experience facilitating sessions with groups of young people.
• Understanding safeguarding principles when working with young people.
• Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
• Willingness to travel across the UK and work some evenings/weekends.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with headteachers, PSHE and Jewish Studies leads, JSoc contacts and community organisations.
• Identify and approach new schools/partners to widen Streetwise reach.
• Act as main contact for partners and tailor programmes to their needs.
• Represent Streetwise at events and partner meetings across the UK.
• Facilitate Streetwise programming in schools during term time.
• Recruit, brief and support freelance or volunteer facilitators.
• Manage bookings calendar from enquiry to confirmation and follow-up.
• Plan the year ahead to meet targets for sessions, reach and engagement.
• Coordinate facilitators, logistics, materials and travel for each session.
• Keep records of bookings, attendance and reach; report progress.
• Collect and analyse evaluation data to demonstrate impact.
• Create engaging posts/content to showcase our work and campaigns.
• Develop and refresh the Streetwise curriculum across settings.
• Design engaging, age-appropriate sessions on antisemitism, wellbeing and resilience.
