Job summary

MHR International UK Limited is seeking a Product Owner in Newcastle upon Tyne to translate validated product ideas into delivery-ready work for engineering teams. You will partner with the Product Manager to define epics, own the delivery structure and establish cross-department acceptance criteria to ensure the market outcome is met, not just the engineering output.

You will translate epics into a credible backlog, shaping technical stories with clear acceptance criteria, and lead UAT

Responsibilities

Turn validated product ideas into clear, delivery-ready work that engineering teams can build, test and release.
Translate epics into a prioritised backlog and define story-level acceptance criteria for sprint work.
Own UAT planning, coordination, execution and sign-off with delivery metrics visibility.
Maintain artefacts like epic/story acceptance criteria, sprint inputs, backlog health and release notes.
Collaborate with Engineering Managers, Tech Leads and UX to ensure readiness and unblock delivery.
