Remedy Education is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join a friendly primary school in Havering, East London. You will work closely with class teachers to support pupils' learning and help create an inclusive classroom environment, assisting individuals or small groups.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children in a school, childcare, or youth setting.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• A caring, patient, and supportive attitude towards children.
• Strong literacy and numeracy skills.
• Willingness to obtain an Enhanced DBS check.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging lessons and support learning in the primary curriculum.
• Work with pupils individually or in small groups to reinforce learning.
• Support pupils with SEN and broader classroom needs.
• Prepare classroom materials and displays.
• Promote positive behaviour and assist with classroom management.
• Monitor pupil progress and provide feedback to the teacher.
• Assist with supervision during breaks and on school trips.
