Based in High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire, this role focuses on delivering interventions to small groups, aiding pupil progress and building confidence across the curriculum while supporting teachers with whole-class learning in a positive school environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in UK primary schools.
• Ability to deliver targeted interventions.
• Strong literacy and numeracy support skills.
• Good communication and teamwork.
• Proactive approach to supporting teaching and learning.
• Willingness to obtain Enhanced DBS.
• Right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Deliver intervention sessions across core and foundation subjects.
• Support pupils individually and in small groups to reinforce classroom learning.
• Monitor progress and provide feedback to teachers following intervention sessions.
• Prepare learning resources to meet individual pupil needs.
• Support whole-class teaching when intervention sessions are not taking place.
• Encourage positive behaviour and promoting engagement throughout the school day.
• Help to create an inclusive learning environment where every pupil feels supported to succeed.
