Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment is seeking a dedicated Primary Intervention Teacher for a South Birmingham school on a long-term basis. You will deliver targeted literacy and numeracy interventions across EYFS, KS1 or KS2, supporting pupils to close gaps through tailored lessons.

Ideal candidates will hold QTS and have experience in UK primary settings, with a passion for helping pupils of varying abilities. The role offers ongoing collaboration with teachers, SENCOs and senior leaders, and opportunities

Qualifications

• Must hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Experience teaching in UK primary schools preferred.
• Passion for targeted intervention and closing learning gaps.

Responsibilities

• Deliver targeted literacy and numeracy interventions across EYFS, KS1, or KS2.
• Work with pupils who require additional support to close learning gaps.
• Plan and deliver engaging, tailored lessons to meet individual learning needs.
• Monitor and track pupil progress, adapting interventions as needed.
• Collaborate with class teachers, SENCOs and senior leaders.
