Job summary

The role offers exposure to a range of educational settings and collaborative teamwork. We expect a Level 2 TA qualification, experience with children, and a patient, adaptable approach.

Qualifications

• Holds a Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
• Experience of working with children in a school or educational setting.
• Positive, patient and flexible approach to supporting children's learning.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work effectively as part of a team while building positive relationships.

Responsibilities

• Support teachers in delivering engaging and effective lessons.
• Provide support to individuals and small groups to access learning.
• Assist pupils with a range of learning needs and access arrangements.
• Help create a safe, positive and inclusive classroom environment.
• Encourage pupil independence, confidence, and social skills; support positive behaviour.
• Prepare classroom resources and learning activities.
• Promote safeguarding and inclusion across the Trust.
