Job summary

Academics is seeking a Learning Support Assistant in Basildon, Essex. You will provide 1:1 and small-group support, helping pupils across different Key Stages to build confidence and resilience.

We are looking for resilient, passionate and adaptable individuals who can foster a safe, inclusive learning environment and collaborate with teachers to support children's learning and development.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting children in classroom or similar settings.
• Ability to adapt to different Key Stages and pupil needs.
• Strong interpersonal skills to build trust with pupils, families and staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality 1:1 support to pupils who require additional assistance.
• Work with small groups to support learning and development across Key Stages.
• Build positive relationships with children and create a safe, inclusive learning environment.
• Collaborate with teachers and the support team to ensure consistent pupil support.
