Job summary

Academics is seeking a Learning Support Assistant in Basildon, Essex. You will provide 1:1 and small-group support, helping pupils across different Key Stages to build confidence and resilience.

Pay: 93- 105 per day, dependent on experience

You will have the opportunity to work across different Key Stages, supporting pupils both 1:1 and within small groups, meaning no two days will necessarily look the same.

The Role

• Provide high-quality 1:1 support to pupils who require additional assistance.
• Work with small groups of children, supporting their learning and development.
• Support pupils across different Key Stages and adapt your approach to different ages and abilities.
• Build positive, trusting relationships with children.
• Encourage pupils to develop their confidence, independence and resilience.
• Support children who may require additional academic, social, emotional or behavioural support.
• Work closely with teachers and the wider support team to ensure pupils receive consistent support.
