Job summary

Capability Scotland is seeking Support Workers for the Day Service in Perth to assist adults with complex disabilities across a hub and community setting. You will help with personal care, medication administration, and meaningful activities, fostering independence and community participation.

Role offers part-time hours with a flexible schedule, including some evenings and weekends. A driving licence is preferred and PVG checks are required for employment.

Qualifications

• Past work history in day centres or one-on-one community adult care support, including supporting individuals with Autism, Acquired Brain/Spinal Injuries, Epilepsy, or Cerebral Palsy.
• Experience with activities like arts, crafts, and hobbies to engage individuals.
• Developing person-centred plans and maintaining records, including risk assessments.
• Providing personal care and supporting with medication.
• Experience with AAC or Makaton is a plus.

• Assist adults with complex disabilities in hub and community settings.
