Job summary

Warwickshire County Council is recruiting a Supervising Social Worker for the Fostering and Kinship service on a permanent part-time basis (30 hours). The role covers Warwickshire and requires professional Social Work qualification with Social Work England registration.

You will provide supervision and support to foster carers and young people, undertake reviews and court reports, and contribute to safeguarding duties.

Qualifications

• Professional Social Work qualification and Social Work England Registration.

Responsibilities

• Provide supervision and support to foster carers and young people to maintain stability in foster homes.
• Undertake Fostering Home Performance reviews.
• Complete SGO reports for court.
• Complete Private Fostering Assessments.
• Support with standards of care, position of trust, allegations, placement planning meetings and placement support meetings; be part of the duty team.
• Support recruitment events and social events for foster carers.
